Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet tactical rocket system 9K52 Luna-M, NATO code name FROG-7, in 1:72 scale from Trumpeter. The model captures the self-propelled launch vehicle (TEL) built on the eight-wheeled ZIL-135 chassis with the unguided 9M21 rocket on a tilting rail. The set contains rubber tires and a decal sheet covering several operators of the system.
Luna-M was a short-range tactical rocket system introduced in the 1960s. The unguided 9M21 rocket could carry conventional or nuclear warheads and reach targets tens of kilometers away. The system was used by the Soviet army and by many friendly armies; it spread to more than twenty countries and in some of them served long after the end of the Cold War.
Assemble and paint the chassis, the launch rail and the rocket separately, and only then put the whole thing together. Paint the rubber tires with a flat color on their own. Shade the cab and the rail according to the operator chosen; at the end add washes into the recesses and fine pigments for the dust effects typical of field vehicles.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
