An injection-molded plastic kit of the Sikorsky SH-60B Seahawk shipborne naval helicopter in 1:72 scale from the firm Hasegawa. The model is molded in gray plastic, with clear glazing parts and a decal sheet, and it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The SH-60B Seahawk is a shipborne helicopter of the US Navy derived from the army UH-60 Black Hawk and adapted for operation from surface ships. It serves against submarines and surface targets, for reconnaissance and for rescue duties. It carries sonobuoys, sensors and armament, and its rotor blades and tail section fold for stowage on board.
Pay attention to the interior of the cabin and to the main and tail rotors, which are prominent to the eye. We recommend a base coat and airbrush painting; the gray naval scheme is typical. Glue the transparent parts with a cement that leaves no clouding. Apply the decals over a gloss base and fix them with a matte coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
