A set of two large-capacity underwing fuel tanks of 1500 liters in 1:72 scale. It is a 3D printed resin accessory from Reskit intended for models of the Panavia Tornado in the IDS and ECR versions. The tanks have the smooth welded surface typical of the machines of the German and Italian air forces.
The Panavia Tornado IDS is the strike version and the ECR the version for the suppression of enemy air defenses. The continental users routinely carried large-capacity underwing tanks with a welded surface, which extended the range.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut them from the print supports and line them up on the pylons. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection and lay down a filler primer before spraying.
This is an accessory detail set, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the glue, the paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
