About product

German Cam. Beige WW2 - Vallejo Model Color acrylic paint

A beige camouflage shade that the manufacturer Acrylicos Vallejo assigns to German schemes of the Second World War. It is a water-thinnable acrylic of the Model Color range in a 17 ml dropper bottle, heavily pigmented and drying matte, exactly what a modeler needs for large vehicle surfaces as well as for fine work on equipment.

Use

  • The base tone of late-war German vehicle camouflage, over which green and brown patches can be laid with a brush or an airbrush.
  • Straight from the bottle for the brush; for the airbrush thin it with water or with Vallejo thinner to the consistency of milk.
  • It also suits color modulation: lightening the centers of panels gives a small scale a sense of volume.
  • It is equally good for the equipment, straps and sand-colored accessories of figures.
  • Once dry it takes washes, filters and pigments.

Who it is for

Above all for builders of German vehicles and figures of the Second World War who want to lay a camouflage base with a brush and leave no stroke marks. The earthy beige tone will serve diorama builders just as well for plaster, roads and dusty surfaces.

A water-based acrylic paint. The manufacturer does not state a specific period code for the shade; when building from references, compare the tone against period sources.
