A resin set of sensors and antennas for a MiG-29 model in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. These are the small protruding items that a plastic kit tends to render needlessly thick, because a thinner shape would not come out of the mold. Printed resin manages fine sections without trouble. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for a finished model.
The MiG-29 carries a set of sensors and antennas across the airframe: the air data probe on the nose, angle-of-attack sensors on the sides of the nose, antennas for radio communication and transponders on the spine and on the underside of the fuselage, and sensors for the radar warning system at the wingtips and by the vertical tails. On the real machine these are thin items that the ground crew watch especially closely, because they are easily damaged.
Work over a surface, so that the small parts do not fly off. Cut the supports off with a new blade; never break them. Cut off the original plastic stubs on the model and smooth the area. Fit the set only once the varnishing is finished, so that masking tape does not catch on it. Apply the glue with a pin in the tiniest drop.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
