An orange yellow acrylic paint for modelers, water-thinnable, in a 10 ml package.
Responsibility details are not available.
Ten milliliters of a rich yellow shifted toward orange, that is, a color meant to be seen at first glance. It suits warning stripes, training and rescue markings, recognition bands on wings and fuselages, construction equipment and the parts of military machines that are deliberately set apart from their surroundings in service.
The binder is water-based, so water is all you need. Anyone who wants a smoother surface when spraying will reach for the brand's own thinner.
Warm yellow shades have a thin pigment and show the dark plastic through. The surest route leads over a white or very light gray base – on it the color comes out cleanly after two passes, whereas straight onto a dark part five would be needed and the surface would inevitably coarsen.
Stir it before opening and during the work. Otherwise the settled pigment stays at the bottom and only weakly colored binder comes off the brush, which ends up looking like a dirty veil.
The sharp edges of stripes come out better if the edge of the masking tape is first oversprayed with a thin coat of the base color. That seals the gap and the yellow then does not seep under. Close the bottle right after loading the brush, because hard granules form quickly on its rim and later get into the spray and spoil a smooth surface.
Clean the palette right after work. Dried yellow crumbles during the next mixing and its fragments then tint every following tone made on the palette.
