Mr. Primer Surfacer 1000 is a neutral gray filling primer (primer or surfacer) from Gunze (Mr. Hobby) in a package of 40 ml. This lacquer primer with a grit of 1000 serves to prepare a surface before painting: it evens different materials out into one base and at the same time works as a fine putty that fills small flaws, scratches and unevenness on plastic, resin and metal.

Use

• Stir the contents thoroughly before use for an even consistency
• Thanks to the fine 1000 grit you can apply it with an airbrush as well as a brush
• If needed, thin it and clean the tools with acetone or a lacquer thinner of the Mr. range
• The gray shade helps to reveal unevenness and evens the base out under the final colors
• Once dry the surface can be sanded and the spraying repeated for perfect leveling
