Landing gear legs for the Su-34 in 1:48 scale are a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models, reinforced with steel pins.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of landing gear legs for a model of the Su-34 strike aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The manufacturer describes it as the nose leg and the main legs in the extended position, with the electrical and hydraulic lines picked out, with landing lights and with a fender. The parts are printed from a strong polymer and reinforced with steel pins. It is not an aircraft kit but replacement parts.
The Su-34 is a heavy strike aircraft with an armored cockpit for two crew members and with a large load of armament, so its takeoff weight markedly exceeds the fighters of the same family. The landing gear therefore was given a reinforced design and the main legs carry wheels arranged one behind the other. A model in 1:48 scale is heavy in itself and thin plastic legs will bend under it in time.
Release the parts from the supports with a scalpel and level the mating faces. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Spray the legs before fitting and bring the lines out with a dark tone run into the recesses. A faint oil weep suits the area around the shock struts, and runway dust the lower parts.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
