True Metallic Metal LiGHT - Hydra Turquoise

Vallejo True Metallic Metal Light, Hydra Turquoise (metallic acrylic paint)

A water-thinnable acrylic metallic paint from the True Metallic Metal range, built on very fine metal pigments and a sheen realistic at figure scale. The Hydra Turquoise shade is a rich turquoise with a cool metallic cast, and this Light version is the lighter tone for brightening. In the Base, Shade and Light system, Light is the lightening tone for edges and lit areas, while the base color covers the surface. The paint is non-toxic and odorless, thins with water and comes in an 18 ml bottle with a dropper.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use so that the metal pigment is mixed in.
• Apply it with a brush to a smooth, prepared surface; it covers over a black base and a white one alike.
• Use it as the lightening tone on the edges and highlights of colored metal surfaces.
• Apply metallic paints toward the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
• Once thinned with water it can also be sprayed with an airbrush; the range has a separate airbrush version for spraying.
