The Master Tools sliding T-square is a modeling aid for accurately measuring and marking perpendiculars and parallels. It is neither a model nor an accessory for one.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a modeling tool, not a kit and not an accessory for a model. The sliding T-square has the shape of the letter T: the crosspiece rests against the edge of a part and the sliding arm with a scale makes it possible to measure off and mark a distance from that edge. Thanks to the fixed right angle, the marks come out exactly perpendicular to the supporting edge, or parallel to it. It is used wherever the same measure has to be carried over to several places - when scribing panel lines, marking openings, cutting strips or checking symmetry.
Work on a flat and hard surface, so that the part does not shift. Scribe in several light strokes instead of one firm one; the line will be clean that way and the tool will not slip on you. Before scribing in a visible place, try the setting out on a waste part of a sprue. After the work, wipe the dust and plastic debris off the tool, so that the slide stays smooth, and put it away so that it does not rest against an edge and warp.
The exact dimensions and the material of the tool are stated on the packaging. The tool has sharp edges; keep it out of the reach of children.
