HPM is a Czech modelling and historical magazine, tracked here under a heading of its own rather than mixed into the general literature listings. A domestic title carries a practical advantage for Czech builders: the terminology arrives in the language they already use at the bench, so method articles do not have to be translated first. The emphasis of the series has always been aviation, both the history and the business of reproducing it in plastic. What a reader usually carries from an issue to the bench is a walkaround photograph and a note on markings, which is enough to settle one build: the airframes are in aircraft model kits, and the same types treated at monograph length, with drawings and colour profiles, in reference books on real machines.
