An Eduard LööK accessory set in 1:32 scale for a model of the Italian Macchi C.202 fighter. A finished color instrument panel replaces the part from the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Macchi C.202 Folgore is an Italian fighter aircraft from the Second World War. It came about when a liquid-cooled inverted V12, the licensed form of the German Daimler-Benz DB 601, was fitted into the airframe shapes of the earlier radial-engined type. The slender nose did the aircraft a great deal of good in terms of speed, and the Folgore became the most successful Italian fighter of its day. Its armament was concentrated in the nose and fired through the propeller disc.
A finished color instrument panel for the cockpit of a model in 1:32 scale. The dials, the lettering and the reflections of the instruments are already done, so the most laborious and most delicate painting job in the whole cockpit falls away. The panel is shaped for a particular kit, which the manufacturer instructions name, as they do what else belongs to the set.
The parts are not polystyrene, and ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on them. They are bonded with a small amount of super glue, and on larger areas with two-part epoxy. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder smooth. Try the panel dry while the fuselage halves are still loose, because once they are glued it cannot be moved. Do not repaint the finished dials and do not cover them with a flat clear coat; they would lose the sheen of glass. Blow any dust off the surface or wipe it away dry with a soft brush.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
