A debonder is a glue remover that dissolves cured cyanoacrylate. Two situations call for one: super glue that has run out of a seam onto a visible surface, and a part bonded in the wrong position — or to your fingers. The point is that a debonder works chemically. It is placed on the spot and left to act instead of being scraped off, which saves the surrounding detail that a tool tip would destroy within seconds.
Chemistry needs patience: put a drop on, let it soak, wipe the softened residue away and repeat rather than forcing the joint apart. For application, disposable micro brushes or cotton swabs keep the liquid on target instead of spreading it across the panel. Test any debonder on a hidden area first — on some plastics and varnishes it dulls the surface. Once the joint lets go, level whatever residue is left with a fine abrasive and make the next attempt with a better-measured drop of cyanoacrylate.
