Set “1” – 3 airbrush Stencils

Set 1 - three airbrush stencils (77propeller)

This item is a package of three airbrush stencils from 77propeller. It is not a paint and not a kit: the stencils are working aids through which you spray your own paint with an airbrush to create a pattern or texture on a surface. The set belongs among the aids for diorama work, that is for bases, terrain, brickwork and floors; you will also find a use for it on large areas of a model.

Why a set of three

Working with a single stencil has a ceiling: anyone who uses it over and over on the same surface soon finds the pattern visibly repeating. Three different stencils solve that problem - by alternating the patterns and turning them you get a surface on which the eye finds no regularity. Work in layers, let the paint go off between passes and vary the strength of the coat too, not just the stencil. The basic rules are the same for all three: thinned paint, lower pressure, a perpendicular spray from close up and the stencil pressed against the surface. For a softer edge, lift it a few millimeters above the surface.

Who the set is for

• For builders of dioramas and bases who cover larger areas.
• For modelers who want more than one pattern to work with.
• For airbrush users with basic practice in thinning paint.
• As reusable workshop equipment, not an accessory for a single model.

Only the number of stencils in the package is certain; their specific motifs, sizes and material are shown on the packaging. Paints and an airbrush are not included in the package.
