Eduard 1:32 Spitfire Mk.I landing flaps is a photo-etched set of landing flaps for the kit of the legendary fighter. It is an add-on, not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard holds photo-etched parts for a faithful rendering of the lowered landing flaps of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail add-on that replaces the simplified plastic flaps and makes it possible to show their internal ribbed structure in the lowered position.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I was the first production version of this famous British fighter and became famous in the Battle of Britain in 1940. Open landing flaps are a characteristic feature of a Spitfire standing on the airfield.
Separate the parts from the fret, shape them carefully over an edge and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Fit the flaps only after the surrounding area of the wing has been painted. A dark wash brings out the internal structure.
This is an add-on set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
