A paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics AIR range, a water-thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml bottle. US Interior Yellow Green is a more muted yellow-green shade derived from the zinc chromate primer. It sprays like a lacquer, is thinned with water or with acrylic thinner, and is non-toxic and non-flammable.
The interior yellow-green came out of zinc chromate tuned to a calmer shade and was used on the inner surfaces of cockpits, instrument panels and structures of American aircraft. Compared with pure zinc chromate it is a little less saturated and greener, so it serves well to tell the individual interior areas apart.
