A photo-etched detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber for a faithful rendering of the front and rear fenders of the Panzer IV medium tank in 1:35 scale. The set is designed to be universal for models of all the common Panzer IV versions and replaces the thick-walled plastic fenders with thin metal parts.
The Panzer IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War, built throughout the war and fielded on every front. The fenders were among the features that often bent, broke off or went missing in the field, so a photo-etched replacement makes it possible to render their combat damage faithfully.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, make the necessary bends on a photo-etch bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The fenders can be bent, torn or partly removed for the realistic look of a well-used vehicle. After airbrushing, pick out rust, scratches and caked mud with washes and pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
