Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure set in 1:35 scale showing a Red Army rifleman from the first half of the Second World War. It is a continuation of a line of figures with the same subject, according to the name the seventh set. The castings of gray modeling resin are supplied unpainted, unassembled and with casting blocks that have to be removed before building.
The period 1941 to 1943 is well recognizable in the equipment of Soviet infantry. A tunic with a collar, breeches of the galife cut, a belt with ammunition pouches, a water bottle, a bread bag (haversack), an entrenching tool and a steel helmet were used. Depending on the situation a field cap or an ushanka (fur cap with ear flaps) and a winter uniform appear. The dating given in the name matters to a modeler, because it helps to match the figure with the right variant of a vehicle and with the season of the scene being shown.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove the release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, sand the surfaces wet and use respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and fill the seams. After primer, choose muted khaki and olive tones, because the period fabric was unassuming and faded quickly. Deepen the folds with a darker shade, lighten the raised places and set the leather parts apart with gloss. Paint the weapon separately, the wood in a warm brown tone and the metal in a dark graphite color. At the end even the surface out with a matte clear coat and dust the legs lightly with pigment.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
