An injection-molded plastic kit of the American T26E4 Pershing heavy tank in its late production version (Late Production) in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The model offers a detailed hull with an internal engine compartment, a turret with a long barrel and two types of tracks. The engine cover can be assembled in the open as well as the closed position.
The T26E4 was an experimental American heavy tank, nicknamed the Super Pershing, growing out of the M26 Pershing tank. It stood out for its lengthened, more capable ninety-millimeter T15E2 gun, which was to face the heavily armored German tanks at the close of the Second World War. Only a small number of examples were built, some of which carried improvised applique armor.
Assemble the running gear and the interior of the engine compartment before closing the hull. The long gun calls for attention when the barrel is aligned. Glue the tracks in the way appropriate to the type you have chosen. Complement spraying with an airbrush over primer with washes and dust pigments for faithful weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
