New Ware AD-4W Skyraider masks 1:48 EXPERT: accurately cut self-adhesive washi (kabuki) masks for the canopy glazing and further areas, the EXPERT level (the complete set).
Responsibility details are not available.
Accurately cut self-adhesive painting masks of thin washi (kabuki) tape for a model of the AD-4W Skyraider in 1:48 scale. The EXPERT level is the most complete one: besides the canopy glazing including the frames and the inner faces, it also holds masks for the wheel rims and the small features. The masks go on before spraying, they protect the glazing and further areas, and once the paint is dry they come away cleanly. This is not a model but an accessory for painting.
The Douglas AD-4W Skyraider is the airborne early warning version derived from the carrier-based Skyraider attack aircraft. Under the fuselage it carries a prominent radar in a bulky radome. The single-engine machine served with naval aviation.
Peel the mask carefully off the backing sheet, lay it on a clean surface and press the edges down firmly so that paint cannot get underneath. Spray thin coats and remove the mask before the paint has dried completely, for a sharp edge. Washi tape leaves no adhesive residue once lifted.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit and the paints are not included in the package.
