Parabellum MG14 (2 pcs) 1:48 is a resin detail set from GasPatch models — a pair of German Parabellum MG14 aircraft machine guns of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane kit but a supplementary set from GasPatch models. The package holds two resin castings of the German Parabellum MG14 aircraft machine gun in 1:48 scale. The set serves to refine the armament of First World War aircraft models.
The Parabellum MG14 was a German aircraft machine gun of 7.9 mm caliber, derived from the Maschinengewehr 08 system but markedly lightened and reduced for use on aircraft and airships. It was marked by a high rate of fire and a compact body. The early MG14 version had a fuller, perforated barrel cooling jacket; it was used mainly as the observer's flexible weapon.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces lightly with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring out the perforated barrel jacket with a dark wash and the metal parts with steel shades.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
