A modern injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale that captures the photo-reconnaissance version of the American Mustang fighter, designated F-6C. The boxing brings decals for several machines of the US Army Air Forces. The mold is designed with current technology and offers fine engraving and clear cockpit parts with a framed canopy.
The F-6C was the reconnaissance variant of the Mustang, converted from the P-51B and P-51C fighter versions. It received cameras in the fuselage for oblique as well as vertical photography, while keeping the performance and the range of a fighter. Photo-reconnaissance Mustangs served over Europe and in other theaters and brought commanders key images from deep inside enemy territory.
Glue the plastic parts with thin cement for polystyrene and dry-fit the joints first. Before airbrushing we recommend a filling primer. Apply gloss clear under the decals; a natural metal finish will stand out with metallic shades applied over a smooth base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
