This set from the Japanese brand Tamiya serves to upgrade the front fork of a model of the Honda RC213V racing motorcycle in 1:12 scale realistically. It contains turned and precisely machined metal parts that replace the plastic sections of the standard kit and give the fork a faithful metal look and strength. It is not a standalone model: it is an upgrade to be built into a matching motorcycle model.
The aluminum outer fork tubes and the damper reservoir, together with the plated inner tubes, imitate the shiny metal of the real machine. The result looks mechanically accurate and raises the durability of the stressed parts of the model, which are the most vulnerable during handling.
Degrease the metal surfaces before gluing and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect the polished surfaces from fingerprints. Follow the building sequence of the base model: the set replaces the corresponding plastic parts of the front fork.
This is an accessory set, not a motorcycle model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
