A modeling acrylic from the AK interactive brand. The name carries the name of the shade, Ranger Pink, the designation of the Dual Exo range and the 60 ml volume of the bottle. Once dry, a satin, that is semi-gloss, finish remains.

Mix first, then paint

An acrylic paint is a dispersion in which the pigment sinks to the bottom of the bottle over time. If you dip into it straight out of the box, you will draw out mostly binder and the coat will be uneven. Shake the bottle well before every session, then, and check that the paint is uniform all the way up. With larger containers such as this sixty-milliliter one it pays to repeat that during a longer session as well.

Use

• Always mix the paint, and with larger bottles during the work as well.
• Pour only as much onto the palette as you will use, so the rest stays fresh in the bottle.
• Apply in thin coats, with a brush as well as an airbrush.
• Wipe the neck and the thread of the bottle before closing it, so that the cap will unscrew next time.
• The recommended thinning and the drying time are on the label.
• The resulting coat can be sealed with a varnish in the degree of sheen you choose.
