Bachem Ba-349 M52/M58 in 1:144 scale is a plastic kit of two prototype versions of the German Natter rocket fighter — two models in one package — from Brengun.
Responsibility details are not available.
The injection-molded plastic kit with photo-etched parts holds parts for building two prototype versions of the German Bachem Ba-349 Natter rocket fighter — the M52 and M58 machines. The package offers two sets of parts, clear canopies and decals for both versions.
The Bachem Ba-349 Natter was a German rocket-powered interceptor of the end of the Second World War that took off vertically from a ramp. The M52 and M58 were trials machines (Mustermaschine): the M52 had horizontal tail surfaces of a span close to the wing, whereas the M58 came closer in design to the intended production form. The main difference between the versions lies precisely in the arrangement of the tail surfaces.
The parts are small — glue the plastic with a thin cement and the fine photo-etched parts with super glue. Tell the parts of the two versions apart according to the instructions so that the tail surfaces do not get mixed up. Apply a primer before painting and apply the paint in thin coats.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
