Nissan GT-R R35 headlamps of the late form in 1:24 scale are an accessory with which the front end of a model from the Tamiya kit 24300 is moved closer to the later guise of the car.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail part in its own right for the Tamiya kit 24300, not a model of a car. The part matches the later form of the headlamps, that is the guise the GT-R of the R35 generation was given only in later model years. The front end is the most striking mark of this car, so mixing the early and the late form up shows on a finished model at once.
The Nissan GT-R R35 has been built since the second half of the first decade of this century, and over its unusually long career it has been through several changes to the front grille, the bumper and exactly these headlamps. While the older cars have a different division inside the lamp, the later years carry a different inner layout with sharper graphics. Anyone building a particular model year has to deal with this difference.
Protect the clear areas from the sanding block and from glue, which can fog them. Paint the frames and the reflective surfaces with a silver or chrome paint before you close the whole thing up. Assemble the front end dry and join the parts for good only once the fit has been approved. The inside of a headlamp comes off best under a glossy clear surface.
