German ammunition boxes for the PaK 35/36 in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART: resin castings for an artillery position. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set in 1:35 scale represents German ammunition boxes for the PaK 35/36 anti-tank gun. It is an accessory for a scene and for a finished model of the gun, not a kit. The castings have the catches, the hinges and the reinforcing ribs raised, so they hold up even in the foreground of a diorama, where the details are visible.
The 37 mm PaK 35/36 was the standard German anti-tank gun at the beginning of the war. It was enough against light vehicles, but against more heavily armored machines it quickly fell behind and the soldiers gave it an unflattering nickname for how little it could do. It nevertheless stayed in service with infantry units for a long time, and the crews brought ammunition to it in boxes that were stacked around the firing position.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw, level the surface with a file and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Resin is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. After the primer, the edges stand out if you lighten them carefully over the base shade, and a dark wash running into the seams and pressings suits them, picking out the catches and the hinges.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
