The ruin of a house of a Middle Eastern subject on a ground in 1:35 scale. A scenic part for a diorama with figures or hardware.
Responsibility details are not available.
The part represents a damaged house of a Middle Eastern subject worked up on a ground. A ruin is a stronger subject for a diorama than an intact structure: open masonry allows a look inside, collapsed walls create natural cover for figures, and rubble around the foot of the house joins the structure to the terrain. The 1:35 scale matches the most common sets of figures and models of military hardware, so the scene goes together without recalculating sizes.
The structure and the ground form one scenic whole. The ground frames the display and at the same time carries the ruin, so you do not have to deal with making a base or leveling the structure upright.
Clean the dust and grease off the surface before painting. A base coat will even the shade out and improve the adhesion of the further layers. With Middle Eastern buildings, a sand to gray-beige base has proved itself, into which dark glazes in the joints and a lighter dry brush on the edges of the breaks are gradually worked. The exposed masonry benefits from fine accenting of individual bricks in different shades. Add the dust and the grit at the foot of the house with pigments. Choose the glue according to the material of the part and check the particular procedure in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set will appeal to builders of figure and vehicle displays from contemporary conflicts and to anyone looking for a ready ground for a scene without making terrain themselves. Paints, pigments and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
