A plastic kit of a figure of a Wild West outlaw, which the Ukrainian maker Master Box issued as the first part of its western Gunslinger series. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread figure and diorama scale, so the character will serve well as the basis of a standalone western scene and as an addition to a larger collection of figures.
The era of the Wild West in the second half of the 19th century is a rewarding diorama subject: the dusty streets of small towns, saloons, horses and armed gunslingers. The Gunslinger series treats these characters in dynamic poses with their characteristic kit: a hat, a gun belt and period clothing. And it is with the western that the figure decides the credibility of the scene, as neither vehicles nor buildings play the leading part here.
Glue the parts with a thin cement for plastic, fill and sand the joints. After the primer, work with a brush in acrylics: flat earthy tones for the clothing, the leather of the belt and the boots, fine shadows with a wash and edges brought out with a dry brush. The face comes out best with the layering of skin glazes.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
