Responsibility details are not available.
The third volume of the Top Secret figure series from the manufacturer Bravo 6 in 1:35 scale. The contents are resin castings, supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is neither a kit of a vehicle nor of an aircraft but a figure accessory for dioramas and display case scenes from the period of the war in Vietnam.
The figures are rendered in field dress without distinguishing insignia, with a load-bearing harness, pouches and light equipment for a long march across country. Thanks to its look, different from rank-and-file infantry, the set works well where figures all of a kind would look monotonous. The castings are divided into torso, head, limbs and small kit, so the pose can be fine-tuned a little. Before gluing it is sensible to try the assembly out dry and to think through at once how the figure will be settled in the terrain.
First wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent because of the remains of the release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, sand the surfaces down wet and wear respiratory protection while sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate super glue and fill the seams with putty. After a thin primer, start with the base tones and only suggest the camouflage pattern in 1:35 scale, or it will coarsen optically. At the end a dark wash into the folds, a fine lightening of the edges and a matte varnish that unifies the surface of the cloth will all help.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted as resin castings. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
