A blue shade from the Italian range of paints for airbrush spraying, in a bottle of thirty milliliters. It is supplied at a consistency ready for spraying, so all that is needed before use is to stir the contents. The shade is named after the Renault 8 Gordini, that is after the modified version of an ordinary family sedan that became an icon of French motorsport and whose blue body with white stripes is one of the best known liveries of all.
Shake the bottle thoroughly and spray in thin coats, letting each dry in between. Blue shades cover better than yellow and red, yet a light base is still worth having, because over a gray primer the shade comes out darker. The paint is solvent-based and is not thinned with water; use the thinner of the same brand for thinning and for cleaning the gun. On plastic, apply it over a primer. If you are going to spray white stripes over it, wait until the blue has dried out properly and only then mask.
