A detail set of exhaust stubs for the Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 in 1:48 scale from Eduard. The parts are made by direct 3D printing with faithfully rendered outlets and surface texture. The set replaces the plastic exhausts of the base kit and is intended for models of the Bf 109K-4.
The Bf 109K-4 was among the last production versions of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter. The exhaust stubs along the sides of the engine cowling are clearly visible, and rendering them faithfully contributes markedly to the overall impression of a model.
Separate the exhausts from the print supports and clean them up. Bond with super glue. For a faithful look, combine metallic and rusty brown shades, and finishing with pigments creates the effect of burnt steel. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an add-on set, not a complete aircraft model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
