The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was a supersonic interceptor with its characteristic thin trapezoidal wing. The underwing pylons were used to carry drop tanks and weapons. The resin set offers a finer and more accurate rendering of this area, which tends to be simplified in plastic kits.
Wash any mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. Glue both the resin and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay down a primer before painting and apply the decals onto a gloss varnish.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
