1:48 Siebel Si 204E double-sided realy fit and self adhesive express mask for Special Hobby

Art Scale Siebel Si 204E express mask 1:48

A double-sided self-adhesive painting mask from Art Scale for the kit of the twin-engine Siebel Si 204E from Special Hobby in 1:48 scale. It is NOT a model and NOT decals but a set of accurately cut masks that cover the cabin frames and the glazing (from the inside as well as the outside) and the other areas that are to stay free of paint. The express form is designed so that the masks seat accurately and make the whole process easier.

The real subject

The Siebel Si 204 was a German twin-engine aircraft used chiefly for training and liaison duties, and the Si 204E version was one of the late forms of the family. Accurate masking of the glazing markedly raises the realism of a finished model of this machine.

Use

• Clean and degrease the glazing of the model.
• Peel the masks off carefully and lay them on the cabin frames and the other areas; the double-sided form lets you mask from within as well as from outside.
• Apply the paint with an airbrush or a brush and lift the masks off once it has dried.

Who the mask is for

• Modelers building the Siebel Si 204E in 1:48 scale.
• Anyone who wants clean, sharp cabin frames without going round them by hand.

This is a painting mask, not a model. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
