Static grass tufts 2 mm, light green from Green Stuff World: self-adhesive tufts of low grass for bases and terrain.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of self-adhesive grass tufts with fibers two millimeters high in a light green shade. Two-millimeter fibers correspond to low, mown or grazed grass, that is the growth in yards, along paths and on maintained areas. Low tufts are precisely the most used ones on figure bases, because they do not outgrow the figure and do not draw attention to themselves.
A tuft is peeled off the sheet and pressed into place. On a smooth and clean surface the adhesive layer holds on its own, on grainy terrain it pays off to add a drop of thinned PVA glue. Place the tufts irregularly and leave bare spots between them, because an unbroken green carpet looks like a lawn in a garden, not like a landscape. Mixing more shades will give the area depth, a uniform green looks artificial.
For painters of figures who make their own bases, for builders of dioramas and for railroad modelers. Low tufts are moreover the height you will use up the fastest, because they can be used on practically every base regardless of the subject and of the season of the scene.
This is a small material with an adhesive layer. Store it out of the reach of children under three years of age and keep the sheet flat, so that the tufts do not get crushed.
