A plastic kit of the Czechoslovak fighter biplane Avia Ba.33 in 1:72 scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Avia Ba.33 is a Czechoslovak fighter biplane, which in its design came from the successful Avia BH-21 type. Eighty-two machines were delivered to the Czechoslovak army and served with the fighter regiments, where they formed the backbone of the fighter arm until the arrival of the more modern Avia B-534. Some of the aircraft remained in service until 1939, when Germany took them over, and a few examples ended up in Slovakia.
A classic plastic kit in 1:72 scale meant for gluing and painting. The finished model has a span of 132 mm and a length of 100 mm, and the instructions offer three color variants.
On a biplane, the seating of the upper wing is what matters. Try the struts dry, check the relative position of the two wings and only then glue, ideally on a board where the model stands level. Finish the cockpit before you close the fuselage up. Leave the small parts on the sprue as long as possible, because they are easier to work with and will not vanish off the table.
The kit is for modelers who enjoy the interwar Czechoslovak Air Force and classic biplanes in 1:72 scale. The build assumes ordinary modeling tools, a sharp knife and a steady hand when cleaning the parts up. Paints, glue and accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
