The set gives the cockpits of this modern attack helicopter from the Dream Model kit fully colored equipment. The instrument panels, side consoles and other details are 3D printed on thin flexible film, so they gain real relief along with faithful colors on the displays and controls.
The elements are applied like classic wet decals: once released in water they are transferred into place and the flexible carrier conforms to the shape of the surface underneath. The tedious hand painting of individual instruments falls away. Do not reach for a decal softener, though, as it damages the printed resin.
The set is intended for the Bell AH-1Z kit by Dream Model at this scale and lifts the look of the open cockpits considerably.
