Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run injection-molded plastic kit of the twin-engined Boston Mk.III in the British Intruder form, in 1:72 scale from Special Hobby. Besides plastic and clear parts the box also contains resin parts and a photo-etched fret for added detail, and decals for several marking options. The model also makes it possible to build the version with a different nose. Work out the exact contents from the enclosed instructions.
The Boston was an American twin-engined attack aircraft that the British used, among other things, in the role of a night intruder. These machines operated in the dark over enemy territory, where they attacked airfields and lines of communication; the version for this role carried a reworked nose and armament under the fuselage.
A short-run model calls for careful cleaning up of the parts and for checking the fit before gluing. Wash the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; bend the photo-etch over an edge. Finish the interior and the cockpit before closing the fuselage. An airbrush and fine layering suit the painting of night schemes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
