Responsibility details are not available.
A set of exactly cast resin barrels for the 7.7 mm Browning machine guns of the British twin-engine Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV light bomber in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part that will replace the coarser or thick-walled plastic barrels from the base kit, not a standalone airplane model.
The Bristol Blenheim was a British twin-engine light bomber, widely used in the first years of the Second World War. The Mk.IV version with its lengthened glazed nose was powered by Bristol Mercury radial engines. It defended itself with 7.7 mm machine guns in the wing, in a dorsal turret and in a rear ventral position.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block (the gate) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. The thin barrels are fragile, so separate them carefully; the guns come out once painted in a metallic shade with the muzzles lightly brought out.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
