Peewit 1:72 Consolidated B-24H Liberator painting mask

A set of self-adhesive masking templates in kabuki tape from the Czech manufacturer Peewit for a model of the four-engine Consolidated B-24H Liberator bomber in 1:72 scale. The Liberator has extensive glazing, the cockpit, the nose glazing and the gun turrets, and pre-cut masks markedly speed up spraying them cleanly. The set tends to come with circular masks for the wheels as well. It is not a model and not a decal but an aid for quick masking.

Use

• Lift the individual masks off with tweezers and apply them to the corresponding glazing frames according to the plan.
• Press the edges down thoroughly so that no paint creeps under the tape.
• Spray the frames with the interior color and with the exterior finish, and peel the masks off once dry.
• Use the circular masks to cover the tires while painting the hubs.
