The resin set 1:72 Hawker Tempest Mk.V wheels LATE from the Brengun brand offers the main wheels of the Tempest fighter in the late production guise. It is an accessory to a kit in 1:72 scale, not a model of the aircraft.

Cast resin wheels for a kit of the British Hawker Tempest Mk.V fighter in 1:72 scale, this time in the late guise. The set replaces plastic parts of the landing gear; the aircraft itself is not in the package. The advantage of resin is plain with wheels: a casting has no parting line running across the tread of the tire, so the most unpleasant part of cleaning up falls away, and the hub keeps its sharp edges. The manufacturer is the Czech brand Brengun, which also makes a set with the early variant of the wheels for the same type.
The Tempest Mk.V came out of the Typhoon type, but was given a new wing with a thinner profile and a longer nose because of the move of the radiator. It was powered by the Napier Sabre H-24 engine and the armament was made up of four 20 mm cannon. The aircraft served from 1944 especially at low altitudes — in chasing V-1 missiles and in the role of an attack machine over northwestern Europe. The main landing gear retracted into the wing and in the course of production and service the design of its wheels changed, so choosing the right variant is one of the details that set a model matching a particular machine apart from a general one.
Before gluing, wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent. Cut the casting block off with a saw and level the contact surface on sandpaper laid on a flat board, so that the model stands on both wheels once finished. Do the sanding wet and with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue — plastic cement will not take on resin. Paint the hub and the tire separately and mark the border out with masking tape or a circular template. A final fine dusting with pigment on the contact surface gives the wheel the impression of a machine in use.
It is an accessory to a kit, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
