This resin detail set from SBS Model in 1:72 scale contains a propeller and main wheels for the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter in versions Q and N. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for the base kit, with which you replace the plastic parts by truer resin ones.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter of the Second World War with an unusual layout, the engine behind the pilot and a nose gear. The Soviet Air Force used it in large numbers. Versions Q and N were among the most widespread variants.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the propeller blades in a flat dark shade with the period color scheme in mind, and set the tires apart from the discs.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
