Responsibility details are not available.
This is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish RWD-8 high-wing monoplane in the version from the PWS factory, in 1:72 scale. The package offers decal options for machines that came into German, Latvian and Soviet service. The model is supplied as a conventional plastic kit to be glued and painted.
The RWD-8 was a Polish two-seat high-wing monoplane from the first half of the 1930s, used mainly as a basic trainer and liaison aircraft. It was built in two plants, among them the PWS company, and became one of the most widespread Polish aircraft of its day. In the fighting of 1939 it served on liaison and observation duties; a number of machines then ended up in the hands of other armies.
The small scale rewards careful cleaning up of the parting lines and thin application of the paints. It is a good idea to glue the struts and the bracing of the high-wing layout only after the main parts have been painted. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic, apply a gloss clear coat before the decals and unify the whole with a matte varnish. The bracing wires can be added from a thin filament.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
