Green Stuff World Acrylic Color Faded Orange is a water-thinnable acrylic paint for figures in a subdued orange shade. It serves as an accent: a small area that decides whether a figure is seen on the table.

Faded Orange is a paint from the Acrylic Color line of the brand Green Stuff World, that is a water-based acrylic for painting figures and models for a gaming table. It thins with water or with an acrylic thinner, the brushes clean with water and it does not mix with lacquers or with oils. The shade belongs to the orange group, while the word Faded in the name suggests a more subdued, less garish pitch.
A figure on a gaming table is not looked at from thirty centimeters but from roughly an arm's length. From that distance the detail disappears and only the arrangement of areas of color remains. That is exactly why it pays to have one strong color in the palette that covers a small area and draws the eye: a sash, a plume on a helmet, a lantern, a sign on a shield, the seal of a visor. Proceed by placing the accent in one or two spots, never over the whole figure, because a scattered accent stops being an accent. A lighter base suits a subdued orange, because it comes out more slowly over a dark base and wants two or three thin coats.
For players who want their unit to be unambiguously identifiable on the table, and for collectors who work with the color composition of a figure. It is applied with a brush and, once thinned, with an airbrush.
Shake thoroughly before use. Store it closed, protect it from frost and keep it out of reach of children.
