ANA 613 Olive Drab – Air is an AK interactive acrylic paint from the Air Series: the basic matte olive shade of American vehicles, thinnable with water.
Responsibility details are not available.
A water-thinnable acrylic from the Air Series aviation range. The consistency is tailored to spraying, so the paint can be applied in a fine coat and does not flood the surface detail. It handles differently from a thick bottled paint when brushed, but it offers techniques a thick paint does not allow.
Olive Drab is a muted brown-green, the most common camouflage shade of American vehicles of the Second World War period. It is used on the upper surfaces of aircraft models, but it serves just as well on vehicles or equipment. It is a dark color, so on a model it visually swallows the edges and rivet detail, which then have to be brought back.
It is exactly with a dark shade that a dry brush pays off. Pick up a little paint lightened on the palette, wipe the brush dry on paper and run it lightly over edges, rivets and the frames of covers. The paint sticks only to the raised areas and the model gets its three-dimensional quality back. Work sparingly, as this effect is easy to overdo and the surface then looks dusty.
For modelers of American vehicles and aircraft and for everyone looking for a universal muted olive for hand and airbrush work alike.
A water-thinnable acrylic. Keep out of the reach of children, ventilate while working and wipe the thread of the bottle so that it seals well.
