About product

Alclad II Magnesium (30 ml)

A metallic lacquer (solvent-based) paint from the Alclad II range in a magnesium shade, supplied in a 30 ml package. It creates a realistic metal surface resembling magnesium and aluminum. It is ready for the airbrush with no thinning and is applied in thin coats over a smooth, glossy black base, which gives the metallic effect depth and shine.

Use

  • Apply exclusively with an airbrush, in several very thin, lightly misted coats.
  • Use a smooth, glossy black paint as the base — the smoother the base, the more pronounced the metallic look.
  • Work at low pressure and from a short distance for an even coat.
  • Clean the airbrush and tools with a suitable lacquer (nitro) thinner.

Who it is for

Suited to modelers who want convincing metal surfaces — natural metal on aircraft, engines or metal details in a magnesium and aluminum shade.

A solvent-based, flammable paint. Apply only with an airbrush in a well-ventilated area, and protect your airways (a respirator). Keep out of reach of children and ignition sources.
