A modeling paint for spraying in the AMT-4 shade, that is the green upper camouflage of Soviet aircraft of the Second World War. Meant for application with an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
AMT-4 is a green camouflage shade of Soviet marking of the Second World War period. It was among the colors of the upper surfaces of aircraft, where it was combined with darker tones into irregular fields with a soft transition, while the lower surfaces took a light blue cast. It is one of the shades you meet most often on Soviet machines, so the paint serves as a basis for a whole range of kits as well as for accessories and figures in the same setting.
The paint is meant for application with an airbrush. Stir it thoroughly before use, so that the settled part disperses through the whole volume. Spray thinly and in several passes, because one heavy layer will fill the engraving and round off the edges. Lower pressure and a smaller amount of paint give a better result on camouflage with a soft transition than trying to cover the surface all at once.
Under the paint belongs a clean, degreased and smoothly sanded surface, or fingerprints and scratches will stand out. A shade always looks darker on a model than on a large surface, so in smaller scales it pays to lighten the base tone slightly. Handle thinning, cleaning the gun and any varnishing with the products the manufacturer recommends for this range of paints, and do not mix it with paints of another type until you have tried the compatibility on a scrap part.
For modelers who build Soviet subjects and want a shade matching the markings of the period. Thinner, an airbrush and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
