Scaled-down screw heads of cone shape with a star recess, 0.6 mm in diameter, the second step of the fine part of the range.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second step from the bottom is a compromise between fineness and manageability. Compared with the smallest diameter only a tenth of a millimeter is added, but during the fitting that difference tells: the part holds better in tweezers and the countersink for the cone head is drilled with less risk of the bit sliding off to one side.
On a motorcycle this size matches the screws that hold the plastic covers, the headlight rims, the data plates or the hose clips. Modelers also reach for it on the dashboard instruments of cars and on the small panels of aircraft, because such joints have a similarly inconspicuous diameter on the real subject.
Grading in tenths of a millimeter makes it possible to set the joints apart according to their real function, which shows on a finished model more than the choice of a single universal size. If you are not sure, stand two neighboring steps side by side and look at them from an ordinary viewing distance; it usually turns out that the finer option comes across as more faithful than one would expect of it at first glance. Keep the coarser step for places where the real subject carries a real load.
