Bloody Land is a texture from the Wargame Terrains range by AK interactive. The volume of 100 ml is given in the name. The paste is applied with a tool directly onto the surface and, once dry, it holds the relief you gave it during the work.
From a small base to a whole area
Working on a round base a few centimeters across and working on a diorama board differ mainly in pace. On small bases the paste is picked up in small portions and shaped with the tip of a tool; on a larger area it pays to spread the whole surface first with a wide spatula and refine the structure only in a second step, while the layer is still pliable. Over large areas it works well to proceed section by section, so the first part applied does not start to set before you get back to it. Any paste left over goes straight back into the closed container.
It suits modelers and players who deal with both, that is, small bases as well as a larger scene, and want the same surface across them. Even a beginner can handle the work, but over larger areas it pays to have a wider spatula at hand and to work with forethought.
