A strip with a concrete surface in H0 scale from the Heki company, measuring 100 x 8 cm. It suits paved areas, entrances and roads in the industrial part of a scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
Concrete has a different role on a model from asphalt. It is paler, harder and belongs where load-bearing capacity was not skimped on: by a factory, in a warehouse complex, on a station ramp, by a depot or on a military area. As soon as you use it in a scene next to dark asphalt, the two surfaces bring each other out and the scene stops being one color.
The strip measures 100 x 8 cm and is prepared for H0 scale, that is 1:87. Eight centimeters corresponds to a real area just under seven meters wide, and a meter of length to roughly 87 meters. With one piece you can therefore cover the whole run through a complex or a long strip in front of a hall.
Level the surface, dry it and remove the dust, because unevenness under the strip will show on the surface. First lay the strip in dry, check how it joins the areas around it and fix it according to the manufacturer's instructions. You adjust the shape and the length with a sharp knife against a steel ruler; make the cut in two passes, so that the edge stays clean.
On a model concrete should almost never be uniform. Differing shades of the individual areas, darker maps from standing water, oil stains and fine dust at the edges will turn it into a surface that has seen service. You suggest a crack with a thin dark line run irregularly.
The package holds the strip with a concrete surface. A surface, the paints, vehicles and the other accessories of scenery are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
